April 1, 2024 – U.S.A.: Depart from USA for your flight to Malta.
April 2, 2024 - Arrive in Malta: Welcome to Malta! Today arrive in Malta after clearing customs, we meet our guide who accompanies us throughout
our tour of Malta. After check in at our centrally located hotel enjoy the afternoon at leisure to start exploring. Your guide is at your disposal for an
orientation tour in town. This evening we savor a welcome dinner at hotel restaurant. (Dinner)
April 3, 2024 - Valletta / Capital City: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Later depart and explore Valletta the capital city. Visit the Upper Barrakka Gardens
with panoramic views of the Grand Harbour. Then we visit the Archaeological Museum with a big display of pottery, altars, figurines dating to the
Stone Age ca 6000 years old. In St John’ Co-Cathedral there are over 375 knights buried and the famous paintings ‘The Beheading’and ‘St. Jerome’
by Michelangelo da Caravaggio. Lunch at local restaurant. Enjoy the Malta Experience Show an audio-visual show that tells the dramatic story of the
islands' 7000 year history. Educational, informative and entertaining. Dinner is at the hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
April 4, 2024 - Three Old Cities – Temples: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today the tour starts with the visit of the Three Old Cities of Vittoriosa,
Senglea and Cospicua where the Knights of St. John did settle when they came to Malta in 1530. From Vittoriosa one enjoys panoramic views of the
Grand Harbour and the yacht marinas. In the afternoon we go to visit two archaeological sites, built by Stone Age Man ca 6000 years old – Hagar Qim
Temples and Mnajdra Temples. Dinner is at the hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)
April 5, 2024 - Full Day Tour – Archaeological Tour: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Depart to visit the Hypogeum and underground temple dating ca
5000 years old. It was a temple and a burial place. Then we proceed to visit the Tarxien Temples where there is the statue of the fat lady. In Marsaxlokk
a fishing village, time at leisure to explore on own. In the afternoon we visit San Anton Gardens, a botanical gardens with various kinds of trees, mostly
from South America and where the President of the Republic resides. Dinner is at the hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)
April 6, 2024 - Day at leisure: Breakfast at the hotel. Today take a day at leisure to explore Malta on own. There is much to discover, you may also
simply relax at the beach or enjoy some shopping in town. Dinner is at the hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)
April 7, 2024 - Full Day Tour - Mosta Church – Mdina – Dingli Cliffs – Crafts Village: After breakfast at the hotel our tour starts by visiting the
Church of Mosta with its third largest Dome in Western Europe. During the Second World War a bomb pierced the dome without exploding. Then we
go to the Dingli Cliffs the highest point of Malta. Mdina / the Old Capital City, we shall visit St. Paul’s Cathedral and museum and walk along narrow
streets up to the bastions to enjoy superb views of the island. At the Crafts Village one can see the Glass Blowers and Filigree Workers doing their job
with love and dedication. Tonight dinner is at the hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)
April 8, 2024 - Gozo: After breakfast, we depart today for a special excursion, a unique way to see Malta's sister island, an excursion to the natural
and serene island of Gozo, conveniently situated a mere 20 minute ferry crossing away. Once we set foot in Gozo one will notice that although the
islands are very similar, we can feel a sense of tranquility and harmony that is hard to match anywhere else. Our day starts at the megalithic temples
of Ggantijja which are older than the pyramids in Egypt. At Dwejra and Inland Sea, weather permitting, boat trip from the Inland Sea to nearby Caves.
Visit the Citadel in Victoria / Capital City of Gozo. Xlendi Bay a fishing village where farewell lunch would be served. Dinner is at the hotel.(Breakfast,
Lunch, Dinner)
April 9, 2024 – Malta / U.S.A.: After breakfast, depart from the hotel to the airport for the flight back home. (Breakfast)
