Benvenuti in Italia! Upon arriving in Palermo, we’ll be greeted by our expert guide who will accompany us throughout our Sicilian adventure. After checking into our centrally located hotel, enjoy the afternoon at leisure to begin exploring this vibrant city where ancient cultures have collided for centuries. The streets of Palermo showcase a unique tapestry of architectural styles—from Arab-Norman cathedrals to Baroque palaces and Art Nouveau villas. This evening, we gather for a festive welcome dinner at the hotel, savoring the rich flavors of Sicilian cuisine. (Dinner)

Palaces, Piazzas & Palermo’s Soul:
This morning begins with breakfast followed by a guided walking tour through the heart of Palermo. Discover the old Arabic quarters, elegant boulevards, and iconic landmarks such as the majestic Teatro Massimo (from outside) and the Palatine Chapel inside the Norman Palace. Afterwards, we continue with our tour manager to wander through one of the city’s lively open-air markets, brimming with colorful produce, fragrant spices, and tempting street food. The rest of the day is yours to explore Palermo at your own pace. (Breakfast)

Seaside Serenity in Cefalù:
Today we venture to Cefalù, a stunning medieval town nestled between sea and mountains. The narrow streets and red-roofed houses lead us to its majestic Norman Cathedral, a symbol of Sicily’s rich past. Stroll along the charming alleys, browse local artisan shops, or relax on the long sandy beach. We’ll enjoy a delightful seaside lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Palermo, where the afternoon is free for you to unwind. (Breakfast, Lunch)
DAY 5
Mar 11th
Salt Roads & Country Roads:
After breakfast, we set out for the sun-kissed western coast of Sicily, passing through the surreal landscape of the Salt Road near Trapani. Here, salt flats stretch to the horizon, dotted with gleaming white mounds and graceful windmills. This otherworldly scenery is both ancient and beautiful. We continue to a traditional Sicilian farmhouse, known as a Baglio, where we tour an olive oil mill and learn about the island’s rich culinary heritage. A hearty country-style lunch featuring fresh, local products awaits us before returning to Palermo in the afternoon.(Breakfast, Lunch)
DAY 6

Temples, Theaters & Tasting Rooms:
Today we travel to Segesta, where the ruins of a grand Doric temple rise amid a backdrop of vineyards and hills. We ascend to the Acropolis to discover the remains of an ancient theater with panoramic views and visit remnants of early Muslim mosques and a medieval fortress—layers of history in one extraordinary place. In the afternoon, we stop at a nearby winery to sample exquisite Sicilian wines before returning to Palermo for an evening at leisure. (Breakfast)
DAY 7

Peaks, Prayers & A Farewell by the Sea:
Our final full day begins with a panoramic drive to Monte Pellegrino, offering sweeping views of Palermo and the sea below. Here, we visit the Sanctuary of Santa Rosalia, devoted to the city’s beloved patron saint. We then continue to Mondello, a picturesque beach town where pastel-colored villas line the coast and the water sparkles in the Sicilian sun. Enjoy free time to stroll the promenade or dip your toes in the sea before gathering for a special farewell lunch by the shore. (Breakfast, Lunch)
